Kotturpuram suburbs fall in the southern outskirts of the
Chennai city. Kotturpruram is quite a distinct place in the splendid
metropolitan city. The suburbs frontiers are lined with those of the
adjoining ones including Adyar, Saidapet and Teynampet. Kotturpuram
is marked with a residential population and a number of popular
establishments that are located within its precincts. Kotturpuram

Madras Club, Alumni Club and Cosmopolitan Club.
The city suburb is adequately provided with public institutions.
The Anna Institute of Management and Government Arts College for Men
are important educational institutes in the region.
Little Mount church and Ananta Padmanabha Swamy temple are popular
worshipping places in the locality. The church lies in the south
west limits and the temple on the south east. There are many other
small temples serving the local population.
