Porur is a small township that lies in the extended region of
Chennai city. Porur lies to the west of Chennai central. The place
forms a part of the adjoining district of Chennai, which is
Tiruvallur. The region is connected to the Chennai city by Arcot
Road and Mount Ponamallee Road. Porur lines up the western boundary
